A homoerotic take on Norman Rockwell’s marine!
And this is my take on said Homecoming Marine.
Dale Lazarov put out a challenge to artists to make a homoerotic pin-up of a character or characters from a classic illustration by Norman Rockwell and this is my contribution.
Despite attempting to make a handsome character still more attractive I think it’s pretty obvious that ultimately Rockwell’s rendition is by far the more appealing. And that totally un-erotic dead-eyed look? Well, let’s just say that it’s the thousand-yard stare of a war-weary soldier…
